A visual exploration of the Ambitious Card combined with magical feats of dexterous exploitation. Uzumaki is our take on the classic Ambitious Card where a selected card magically comes to the top after being pushed into the center.

One of 12 original effects featured on Reflection, an instructional DVD on the card magic of Bill Goodwin. Off Balance Transpo is a three-phase routine where a selected card and the four Aces repeatedly switch places culminating with a visual transformation of the selection into the four Aces.

After shuffling and cutting the deck you're able to instantly produce the four aces in a manner inspired by Steve Freeman that requires little setup. Then, with a simple gesture the aces suddenly locate the four jacks giving you the production of four hands of blackjack.

We've taken this classic and usually boring effect and given it STYLE. Two cards are selected and lost in the deck. As the four aces are magically produced, the selections mysteriously appear between them. This is as visual as it gets!

A visual rendition of the two-card transposition plot. Imagine openly placing a selected card out-jogged in the center of the deck, turning the top card face-up and without ever covering either card, they instantly transpose.

Additionally, you will learn awesome new double lift from the center of the deck.

A beautiful transposition effect with a clever plot about Déjà Vu that will leave your spectators wondering more about what they really just witnessed, or if it happened at all. 

Any card is selected and sandwiched between the two red aces; these cards are clearly placed on the table. Another card is selected, however, the performer miscalls it as the first selection. This second selection is face up on top of the deck. With a snap, the card visually transforms into the first selection sandwiched between the red aces. The cards on the table are spread to reveal the second selection sandwiched between the black aces

An eight is turned face up on top of the deck. In a splitting action, the eight is ripped into two fours of matching color. One of the fours is handed out, as the remaining four is this time split at the fingertips into two two's. Lastly, as you can imagine, a two is split into two aces.

This quick trick is extremely visual - everything is done at the fingertips.

Watch close and don't blink as one-by-one the four Queens vanish in visual eye-candy only to re-appear all at once in this flourishy interpretation of Bill Goodwin's, The Queens.

Here's a fun packet trick that you'll love to perform. The four sixes are shown while the performer jokes about how if he turns the six around and change it to a nine (pointing to an upside down six from the spectators point of view). The next time the performer turns them around, they really do change to nines and the cards can be handed out for examination.

A unique approach to the in-the-hands false riffle shuffle that borrows ideas from Ron Wohl and Hank Miller. This method, however, puts the deck in full order without the need for a cut.

Easily one of our favorite controls to execute, the Miller Cascade Control happens casually in the hands within a subtle action of airing out the deck. It's so discreet, your spectators can be burning your hands and there's nothing to suspect.

The Orbit Control is a variation of a Ken Krenzel idea for controlling a card to the top of the deck. Chris Brown's finessed applications allow this control to be executed surrounded and performed invisibly. It's versatile range of applications makes this control well worth your time to master it and use in your repertoire. 

In addition to the Orbit Control, Chris also tips the Orbit Cop and Ambitious Orbit - a variation that can be applied as a visual color change.

Chad Nelson shares his thoughts on the classic Riffle Pass. Although the technique borrows ideas from many magicians throughout history, it's his own finessed touches that make this variation blazing fast and executable under fire as a color change.

Doc Docherty's Groove Electric Switch is an indiscernible technique for switching an out-jogged card from a fan. It's mechanically beautiful but also practical with built in motivation for execution. Apart from its literal applications, it can also be used to force, control or change any card. Included in this in-depth tutorial, you will learn the basic move, five applications, and three routines.

The Unexpected Upjog is a mechanical method for producing one to several cards from a table spread. It happens instantaneously and automatically and is a surprising way to produce either a selection or the four Aces.
