This is a very useful and relaxing device that I definitely recommend to all flourishers and card magicians learning difficult sleights. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is that I think it costs a bit too much.

For the longest time I was using one of those old and generic looking tools used to exercise and strengthen your fingers and grip strength. Since it's imperative to work on building strength in not only your hand and fingers, with this amazing device you expand on those basics along with increasing your range of motion, strengthening your arm, elbow and shoulder muscles.
You might be thinking just what in the heck does that have to do with both close-up and card magic? Well, much more than the average person is aware of because with this Pro Gyro Powerball you will be amazed at how much it helps with sleights like the Pinky Count Double Lift by Darwin Ortiz. Not only that but it can drastically increase your over all deck control and other sleights such as Palming, the Pass and the Clip Shift utility move by Chad Nelson.
However, this can and should be used on a daily basis even you do not have any intentions to use this to help with finger and hand strength to help with sleight of hand. This is an overall great device to help build strength in your arm, hand and fingers it's also great to help alleviate stress. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone out there who would like to increase the strength in either or both arms and have a fun time while doing so!
