Magic Tricks

A sublime combination of the classic Hofzinser Ace Problem & Twisting the Aces into a single multi-phased routine to bring forth a modern approach to these otherwise antiquated card tricks.

The three of clubs is shown at the fingertips in the left hand. You explain how the pips on the card are removable and you pinch the center pip of the three with the fingertips of the right hand. In a quick action, you visually pull off the center pip of the three leaving the ace of clubs in your right hand the two of clubs in your left hand. These cards can be cleanly shown front and back. You can then go on to replace the pip by tossing the ace into the two in which it visually transforms back into the three.

This trick is so visual. The cards are always at the fingertips and face up. No duplicate cards or gimmicks required.

Derek DelGaudio's Truffle Shuffle has been described as "the most deceptive false shuffle to date." It happens in the hands and resembles a standard Riffle Shuffle exactly, so there's nothing to suspect. Learn the shuffle and all the subtleties from one of the best card magicians today.

Several years ago we introduced you to Pixel, the visual masterpiece from David Jade that has since become one of our best selling tricks. Two face-up Kings are inserted at right angles into the center of the deck. As they pass through, one mysteriously turns face down. The effect is repeated, however, this time the face of the King disappears right before your eyes. The T Change from Jeff Prace is a stunning color change that's surprisingly easy to do. Additionally, unlike similar color changes, the T Change doesn't leave a reversed card in the center, so you're left completely clean. From an ordinary deck, a card is turned face up and inserted into the center. Without any cover, the card visually morphs into another. It's simplicity is magical and the T Change is a great way to reveal a selected card regardless of your skill level.

A remix of the classic Back in Time effect by Steve Freeman. If you know the Freeman trick, just imagine it with a face-up card and you've imagined this trick, seriously. In this effect you'll learn the db Spin Change, the most visual change we've created and the EASIEST change you'll ever do!

Svengali Control is an ingenious multiple shift that allows any number of cards to be controlled to the bottom of the deck in the casual manner of a dribble. It's so deceptive, it can even be done at a snails pace with nothing to suspect.

Here's a completely modernized version of Earl Nelson's Submarine Sandwich. We've given the effect a few of our signature touches and added teleportation to the plot to make what was a good trick a gret routine.

More of a "stunt" or "display of skill" then an actual magic effect but in either case this quick litter fooler will take any onlooker by surprise. A selection is lost in the pack, then the Ace is removed and tossed into the deck from afar only to land perfectly positioned next to the selection à la ninja style.

As the cards are sprung face up from hand to hand, the dealer is able to stop dead on an Ace. This is repeated three more times until all four Aces have been found. An impeccable feat to say the least.

In this trick, the performer introduces two decks of cards, one red and one blue. After shuffling his deck, a spectator is asked to name any card. The performer takes the two red kings from his pack and drops them on top of the spectators deck. Instantly and without the performer even touching the spectator’s cards the freely named selection appears in between the kings! The performer offers to do it again, only this time the spectator removes their red kings and drops them on top of the performer’s deck. Miraculously a card appears in between them! For a kicker finale, the spectator’s selection disappears from the performer’s deck and appears in the middle of the deck they have been in control of the entire time!
