Hey guys I just bought this issue last week , and it is without a doubt the coolest looking Genii magazine cover I have ever seen. The article inside was great, and the excerpt from "If an Octopus Could Palm" was amazing. It definatly sold me on buying the book... as soon as I have $60 to spend on magic literature, (I've got a family to take care of too you know). In summation, great issue, awesome cover.

I bought the magazine as soon as I saw the cover. I got it yesterday, and spent time carefully reading each page. This is really awesome. I'm glad I bought it.

The first feeling when I see the magazine is awesome. It came in the nice plastic zip lock bag to protect the book, and with the gold D&D signature on the cover. And I would say that Brad's photograph is unbelievable amazing. Also, many other photos are also great. And the 18 pages are full with lots of ideas. Also, you will know the brief history of D&D company. How Brad Fulton and Buck twins met, how they shared ideas and what they've got until today. Other than that, there are a few case studies that could lead many ideas to you.

Also, there is a part of the "if an octopus could palm book" explained here. If you haven't bought that book, you can try this magazine and see if the book suits your style or not. Then, there are techniques and tricks explained as well.

I would highly recommend this magazine.

I have never owned, let alone read Genii Magazine before I purchased this. I discovered so much about Genii when I opened the package.

The Dan & Dave Section is right in the middle of the magazine and in it, are many ideas and thought processes, which I feel is great. It doesn't exactly teach you very well, if that's what you were looking for. However, if you've ever wanted to know how Dan and Dave's brains tick, this is a perfect way to that insight. Also, the emphasis on not actually teaching a few moves proves to be very interesting in the way that you're forced to make your own variations and work your own miracles. It's a very inspiring section.

Apart from that, the Magazine teaches, applications of a few moves and a palm that's set out very much like in 'If an Octopus Could Palm'. If you've never learnt by book before I suggest you start here. Even though it's short, you'll start to see how printed magic is taught and you can start to move onto the really great books like By Forces Unseen by Stephen Minch about the magic of Ernest Earick.

There's a lot of great content on the Genii Magazine including reviews of all sorts, a tutorial by Aaron Fisher and a few intriguing articles about other magic practitioners. There are also advertisements for new magic products on the market which will get you thinking. It's great! I love Genii!

The Magazine is signed by Dan and Dave themselves so I guess that's a great big bonus and also, it comes in a tough plastic ziplock bag. Awesome.

First off...An 18 page article from Dan and Dave on all likes of a card conjurer, there is something in it for everyone! Also, if you are hesitant on purchasing "If An Octopus Could Palm", this is a great way to get a "feel" (pun intended) for the type of material in this magazine. With an amazing palm explained just like in the book! Along with the process of creating original ideas of your own and the history which brought Dan, Dave, and Brad together as no better said, than a "Trilogy"...This issue is a must read! And for all you collectors like myself, it is shipped signed by Dan and Dave in a zip lock thick clear plastic magazine sleeve! An amazing addition that surprised me! These 18 pages of Dan and Dave's article alone is worth the price for the insight and variety of moves!

This is a definite must-get. With an 18 page article including anything from tricks to flourishes to palms, and autographed! What else could a D&D fan want?

This is the greatest cover I have seen from Genii magazine. I love the theme with halloween how it makes it seem like The Shining. Highly recommend it!
