Got this as a Christmas gift. I have a few of the original variety boxes released a while back (black and silver). These are so much nicer looking. I love seeing this on my desk as soon as I walk in the room. Class. Elegance. What else would you expect from Dan and Dave?

I've always been looking for a brick box to showcase my prized collection that I even tried making one brick box on my own, but it was an EPIC fail. THANK GOD there's this Build Your Own Variety Box, save me all the effort to try to build one myself. I can't wait for it to arrive at my doorsteps!

At first, I wasn't too crazy about brick boxes. But then I had 12 of my favorite decks and I wanted to display them all in a box. So I ordered these and I was stunned by these boxes. They are beautiful and elegant. Now I want to keep building my own bricks using the Variety Box. It's definitely worth your money!

Honestly, I believe the box is slightly overpriced. However other than that the design of the box and the way it allows me as a collector to showcase my decks is simply amazing. The thought that the Variety Boxes are also sold with this same box also makes me feel happy about buying the product.

I own Dan and Dave smoke and mirrors, red artifice, gold arcanes, and black ghost first editions, and I was always afraid that they were going to get bent, or perforated, so I bought this, and WOW! My cards are going to be preserved pretty well! The only problem is that they you can't really see the cards, so the only reason that I am not giving 5 stars is because it is not a very good desplaying device. However, if you want a good desplayer, get the dan and dave collectors box. That is amazing for displays!

Before I stumbled upon this item to hold 12 decks of cards in a very well designed box, I was always using small card board boxes that I receive whenever I place an order for some decks. Sure, I was able to make my home made card board card holder, however it looked like crap and didn't hold 12 decks of cards.

Then I FINALLY came across these collector box case and for the very reasonable price I purchased a couple. Since I have tons and tons of different cards, its very nice and convenient to be able to hold 12 of our your favorite cards, or just a variety.

Construction will probably take you about 30 seconds to 1 minute flat, it's very simple and the only thing I suggest is to either use double sided tape or you can use super glue, etc. Because you will need to have the two flaps on the side which will be tucked into the card case, will just continue to fall open unless you tape them down.

Now the durability wasn't what I was hoping for since the entire thing is made out of paper and thin card board, so you will have to make sure you take good card of them, so that they might last you a little longer.

In closing, if anyone happens to have a somewhat large collection of playing cards but don't want to carry around a ton of them? Well, with this box from Dan & Dave it will help keep your 12 favorite decks relatively safe but also help you look "cool" and "stylish" so I highly recommend this to any card collector.

The 'Variety Box: Build Your Own' brick boxes are easy to assemble, look great and are a great way to display the cards! The actual box is very nice and thick. Very durable! The problems I have with these though is that the decks at the side are barely noticeable and sometimes the lid doesn't close fully, but a bit of glu tack fixes that problem. Apart from that, the boxes are very nice!

Thanks! I really was looking for a way to store my decks that conveyed a magical, professional feeling. This is it! I bought a bunch of them.
