The Steamboat 999 was first introduced in 1883 by the Russell, Morgan & Company, now the US Playing Card Co. The brand lasted for over a century before being discontinued. As one of our favorite decks we convinced the USPCC to allow us to reprint them to their original specification with a smooth finish on ultra thin paper.

We think the outcome is better than the original. New features include an updated case box with embossed elements and an off-white bleed on the face cards for a vintage aesthetic. Available in the original Red and Blue colors.

Love this! I think it is fantastic that Dan and Dave reprinted this as the originals are so rear. On the top of it all the box is awesome, and the smooth finish is making them great for cardistry and arial moves.

This deck is a classic and just begs to be used in gambling routines and has as a vibrant and action oriented design that stands out when flourishing. The stock is thin and crisp and the finish is nice & slick. The back design is beautiful for creating a set of readers using the same type of system Blaine used on his White Lions...and they are excellent for seconds, centers & bottoms!!! Grab yourself a brick of these and sit down with The Unreal Work and practice 'til your fingers hurt...then fight the temptation to take a deck out and rip people off old school...

These cards are ridiculous. The backings have a clean finish, much like the bees, so these cards are so ideal for second hand dealing and other gambler's moves. With quality like all the other decks I can't see these to last too long depending on their stock!

When I first heard the news of Steamboats from @bucktwins on Instagram I was curious. I have only heard of Steamboats so I bought a few and when I opened the box I was surprised with the difference in stock and finish. The cards fan with such beauty and they feel so smooth. This is a 100% perfect choice if you are starting out your card collecting or if you want a new deck with a different feel. Steamboats will not disappoint.
