Stripper Decks

More Views

The nature or modus operandi of a stripper deck allows one to reverse a single card, a handful of cards, or even half the deck, have them thoroughly shuffled, and then immediately controlled into possession. Hundreds of magic tricks have been developed over the last century with a stripper deck and dozens of books and videos can be found detailing them. In fact, a stripper deck is the best selling and preferred gimmicked deck of cards in all of magic for its versatile applications, deceptiveness, and ease of use.

The secret of the stripper deck lies in the tapering of the edges, which is imperceptible to the laymen's eye. Therefore, a stripper deck can be handed out for examination and even used as a normal deck of cards.

  • Machine cut by the US Playing Card Co. to Fulton's strict specifications.
  • Packaged with a custom "stripper" seal for a unique addition to your collection.
  • Includes a standard deck of matching color.
  • Limited to only 144 sets.

Deception at its finest. Only a truly astute card expert would be able to point out these decks. I had mine delivered and within seconds I was about to produce cards that were lost in the deck. The cut is great and the feel is awesome. I look forward to buying another pair.

Side notes:
- Stripper seal sticker is on the wrapper, not the box so you don't have to worry about that
- Avoid ordering borderless since those are a little more detectable
- Stop reading this and buy a deck

This deck is completely professional. I must mention that it comes with a matching deck, which I find is good for a deck switch; HOWEVER that is not needed with these stripper decks. They have an amazing finish and as they are cut by USPCC, they are perfect in every way. Despite the subtle difference, an experienced mechanic should be able to use these with no difficulty and no tell-tale signs of using a stripper deck.

The stripper seal is also a nice way to distinguish it from other decks if you're in a rush.

I bought the Tobacco Brown stripper deck. These are made with such a high quality, you can hardly even tell that they are a stripper deck. Handles amazing, feels amazing, a definite buy!

I can't wait for the next supply of strippers from D&D. These cards are amazing and you have to play with the pressure to strip out cards. A professional can handle these and not know they have a stripper deck in their hand- that's how good these are! Believe me you WILL need some time as the difference is tiny. I have Erdnase green backs, waiting for the next batch. Thanks D&D

Are there cheaper stripper decks out there, made from respected name brands (as opposed to the cheapo "magic decks" that have no finish and cheap stock)? Sure. But a sharp eye will spot most common stripper decks; the one inverted card will actually cast a shadow because the cut angle is that deep. Not this one. I bought the blue Bee deck (and am kicking myself for missing out on the red Bee deck), and the stripped edge is visually impossible to spot when handling the cards normally as you would for most tricks. The edge angle is extremely shallow and subtle - they will require practice and a sensitive touch; I don't recommend them for people new to stripper decks. But when used in a card routine, even a magician will not notice the gaff. The one way I've been able to spot them is by placing the deck on its side edge on a flat, hard surface - only then can the inverted stripped cards be spotted, and a good eye is still required.

Simply put, this is a professional-grade stripper deck, meant to fool even experienced magicians. If you're getting past novice grade and looking to level up your game, you'd be crazy not to get at least one pack. (And yes, unscrupulous gamblers would consider this a gold mine of a deck as well!)

As some of you know Marlo used to go through as many decks as necessary to find fine differences in the batch of cards and use them as strippers -- his fingers were unbelievable. The cut on these is just as fine. Definitely not for the weak of heart!

And thank you for using one of my favorite card stocks - one that will last!

Usually stripper decks are made of cards with no finish and they become horrible and unusable but not these! These have a finish and a good one. They will last very long at a moderate price!

I think this is one the better stripper decks I have used in my whole career in magic. There is no stripper deck like this one.
